Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers With Tough Game Against Cass City Varsity Red Hawks
Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers couldn't keep up with Cass City Varsity Red Hawks and fell 10-0 on Thursday.
Cass City Varsity Red Hawks got on the board in the first inning after Shaylar McIntyre singled, scoring one run.
Cass City Varsity Red Hawks scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning. Kacee Gray singled, scoring two runs, Josie Spencer singled, scoring two runs, and Mariah Henne tripled, scoring one run.
Cass City Varsity Red Hawks added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Erica Horning singled, Gray doubled, Kylie McKee laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Cass City Varsity Red Hawks scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

On Feb 15’th the bulldogs suffered there 2’nd loss of the season dropping both league games to our freshman boys squad. The freshman are now 14-3 overall and 12-1 in league play.

Paiton Old came to play yesterday hitting 5 triples and scoring 23 points in the first half of our game against Almont. Blake O’Connor had 2 threes of his own. Gavin Oleski had another great all around game chipping in with 8 points. Cody Short gave us great minutes off the bench and had 6 pts. Pioneer boys freshman are now 13-3 on the season.

The Legion won both of their games over the weekend. On Friday, they defeated Mid-Michigan (Mt. Pleasant), 7-2. Then, on Saturday, they beat New Boston United, 6-4. Matthew Cummings had a goal and an assist on the weekend. Next up for the Legion is a game against Port Huron High on Thursday in Sandusky.
