Croswell-Lexington Athletic Hall of Fame
Established:1988
Purpose: Croswell-Lexington High School Athletic Hall of Fame is focused on providing a medium to honor former Pioneer athletes, teams, and individuals who have served the athletic department in a distinguished manner. The Athletic Hall of Fame will recognize men and women who have distinguished themselves by virtue of their performance as members of the Croswell-Lexington High School athletic teams or by service to the athletic department.
Athletic Hall Of Fame Committee: The committee shall consist of the following individuals: Athletic Director, Athletic Secretary, two coaches with over five years of coaching experience, and an additional member.
Nomination Criteria: The nominee should have made a significant contribution to Cros-Lex athletics as a player, coach, support person, or team while demonstrating outstanding character and sportsmanship. Individuals and teams may be nominated from three categories.

Individual Athlete/Team: An athlete will be eligible for nomination five years after graduation and must have earned at least two varsity letters in one sport or one letter in two different sports while an athlete at Cros-Lex. Also, recognition at the state, county, and league levels will be considered in addition to any post high school accomplishments. He or she must have had an outstanding career, demonstrated good character, and achieved acceptable academic standards. A team nomination must have an outstanding regular season, and advanced in a MHSAA tournament. The youngest member of the team must have graduated high school before the team can be nominated.

Coach: Any coach with at least seven years of coaching experience. The nominee must be inactive and removed from the coaching staff for one year. He/she must have an outstanding career, setting high professional, and personal standards.

Contributor: An individual must have served Cros-Lex within the field of athletics for seven years to be eligible for consideration. An athletic administrator, community member, or staff member becomes eligible for Athletic Hall of Fame one year after leaving Cros-Lex.
Requirements and Procedures for Nomination: All entries must be submitted on the Cros-Lex Hall of Fame nomination form. Nominations forms must be filled out accurately and completely for consideration. Forms shall be obtained in the athletic office or online at the athletic website. The nomination form shall be completed and submitted to the Athletic Director by December 1st for the candidate to be considered for induction in the following school year. Please, also include a suitable photograph for reproduction.
Induction Ceremony: A Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony shall be held each year in conjunction with a home athletic event. A maximum of one team, and three individuals will be inducted on a yearly basis. The Hall of Fame is displayed in Pioneer Hall at the high school.
