Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers With Tough Game Against Cass City Varsity Red Hawks 

 

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers couldn't keep up with Cass City Varsity Red Hawks and fell 10-0 on Thursday.

Cass City Varsity Red Hawks got on the board in the first inning after Shaylar McIntyre singled, scoring one run.

Cass City Varsity Red Hawks scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning. Kacee Gray singled, scoring two runs, Josie Spencer singled, scoring two runs, and Mariah Henne tripled, scoring one run.

Cass City Varsity Red Hawks added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Erica Horning singled, Gray doubled, Kylie McKee laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Cass City Varsity Red Hawks scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Ella McMillan began the game for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and six runs over two innings, striking out one and walking four. Alysa Fritz stepped in the circle first for Cass City Varsity Red Hawks. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out nine and walking one.
