Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers Stymied by Yale, Lose 10-1
Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers couldn't keep up with Yale and fell 10-1 on Wednesday.
Yale scored five runs in the third inning. #15, #23, and #3 all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
#9 was on the hill for Yale. The hurler allowed four hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking one.
Drew Hosterman was on the mound for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. Hosterman went three and a third innings, allowing eight runs on three hits and striking out three. Belle Groppi threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.
Nolan Moore, James Gumtow, Groppi, and Connor Partlo each collected one hit to lead Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers.
