Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers Loses Lead Early in Defeat
Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to Almont on Monday. Almont scored on a groundout by #27 in the first inning and a double by #1 in the second inning.
Almont opened up scoring in the first inning, when #27 grounded out, scoring one run.
Lincoln Galbraith led things off on the mound for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. The righthander went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out two. Belle Groppi threw three and a third innings in relief.
