Neither Team Pulls Away As Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers And Glenn Tie

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers and Glenn tied 4-4 on Thursday.

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers were the first to get on the board in the first when Braylon Collins doubled, scoring one run.

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers added one run in the second. Shane Slanec scored after tagging up, making the score 2-0.

Glenn made the score 3-2 in the bottom of the second after #15 homered to left field, scoring two runs, and #19 doubled, scoring one run.

Caden Tang doubled to center field, which helped Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers tie the game at four in the top of the fifth.

Wyatt Frey led things off on the hill for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered six hits and three runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one. #5 began the game for Glenn. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one.

Tang led Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The catcher went 1-for-2 on the day. Frey, Tang, Slanec, Collins, Ethan Torrez, and Alando Mendoza each collected one hit for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers turned one double play in the game. Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Frey had the most chances in the field with three.
