Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers Defeat Carrollton Varsity Cavaliers On Multiple Hit Performance By Braylon Collins

Braylon Collins collected four hits in four at bats, as Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers defeated Carrollton Varsity Cavaliers 15-1 on Saturday. Collins doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the second inning.

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Collins doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, an error scored one run, and Adrian Becker induced Wyatt Frey to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Carson Schrank took the loss for Carrollton Varsity Cavaliers. The reliever went one inning, giving up four runs on four hits, striking out none and walking one. Becker started on the bump for Carrollton Varsity Cavaliers. The starter gave up one hit and five runs (zero earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking three.

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers piled up 11 hits in the game. Braylon Davis collected two hits for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers in four at bats. Davis stole two bases. Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers stole seven bases in the game.

Austin Shye went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Andrew Spiece and Shye each collected one hit for Carrollton Varsity Cavaliers.
