Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers Trounce Hemlock

Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers won big over Hemlock 18-2 on Saturday.
Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers got on the board in the top of the first inning after a passed ball scored one run, and Tanner Sine doubled, scoring two runs.
Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers scored six runs on three hits in the top of the second inning. Doan induced Xander Marshall to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, an error scored two runs, an error scored one run, Sine singled, scoring one run, and Wyatt Frey doubled, scoring one run.
Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers scored nine runs on five hits in the top of the third inning. Braylon Collins grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Shane Slanec tripled, scoring two runs, Sine drew a walk, scoring one run, Ethan Torrez drew a walk, scoring one run, Braylon Davis drew a walk, scoring one run, and #13 induced Marshall to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Marshall earned the win for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. The hurler gave up three hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Doan took the loss for Hemlock. The pitcher went one inning, giving up 10 runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out none and walking none. #24 started on the bump for Hemlock. The starter surrendered one hit and four runs (one earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking two.
