Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers fell to Imlay City Varsity Spartans 4-1 on Thursday.
Imlay City Varsity Spartans opened the scoring in the bottom of the third thanks to two ground outs. Imlay City Varsity Spartans first got on the board when Chloe Bruman grounded out, scoring one run.
Faith Schriber earned the win for Imlay City Varsity Spartans. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking none. Ella McMillan took the loss for Croswell-Lexington Varsity Pioneers. The right-handed pitcher went six innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out seven and walking none.
